Overview
The General Laborer supports daily production operations by performing manual tasks related to material handling, machine feeding, packaging, and general housekeeping. This role is essential to keeping production lines running efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Feed, unload, and stage materials for production lines as directed.
- Package, label, and palletize finished goods according to work instructions.
- Perform general housekeeping and 5S duties to maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Assist machine operators with changeovers and line setups as needed.
- Transport materials and product between work areas using manual or powered equipment (forklift certification a plus, not required).
- Conduct basic quality checks on product and report defects or issues to supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Accurately complete production logs, work orders, or checklists as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to full shift)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature variation, and moving equipment
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
